The Public Accuracy Testing for the November 6, 2018 Election will take place on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:45am in the Fire Hall (200 S. Parker). For more information, please read the Public Notice below:
The City received new tabulator machines from the State of Michigan in 2017. These machines are tested prior to elections as previously mandated by the Bureau of Elections. To learn about how to use these new machines, please watch the short videos below:

Dating back to 1865 when land was deeded to the City by Detroiters Eber Brock and Mary Ward, Woodlawn Cemetery is City-owned and operated. Covering over 14 acres and bordered to the west by the Belle River, the cemetery is home to a sandstone public mausoleum — designed by Ohio architect John P. Schooley — constructed in 1929.
The remains of several prominent people are interred at Woodlawn, including Sydney McLouth, president of the McLouth Foundry.
