Please be advised that the Department of Public Works will be flushing hydrants the week of April 22, 2018. The flushing will occur between the hours of 11:00pm and 6:00am, and may cause temporary discoloration of the water at your tap. Recycling Reminder:

The City is accepting the following sealed bids:

  • Sidewalk Inspection Program ~ Sidewalk Removal and Replacement
    As part of the City of Marine City Sidewalk Replacement Program, the City is looking to hire a contractor to remove and replace cubes of 4” and 6” sidewalk throughout Zones 1 & 3.Complete bid specifications and additional bidding information can be picked up at the City Offices, DPW Office or found online at www.cityofmarinecity.org. Any questions should be directed to DPW Superintendent, Mike Itrich at (810) 765-9711.All sealed bids will be accepted by mail or hand delivery to the City Offices, 303 South Water Street, Marine City, Michigan 48039, until 2:00 PM on April 24, 2018. The outside envelope should be marked “Sidewalk Proposal”.

    All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 PM on April 24, 2018 in the Office of the City Manager, 303 South Water Street, Marine City, Michigan. The recommended bid will be announced at the May 3, 2018 City Commission Meeting.
