Adopt – A – Park:
Marine City’s beautiful parks need help! Try out your gardening skills or just help clean up debris! Giving back to your community makes you feel good and helps the City stay beautiful. Community Service hours available.
The Adopt-A-Park Program is a great way to help the City maintain its beautiful parks! Groups or individuals may “adopt” a park by completing and submitting the application found below. If approved by the City, the applicant must then complete and submit the “Park Maintenance Plan” within 30 days of receiving approval. This form ensures that the City knows what maintenance will be completed by the applicant. Each approved agreement is valid for “one year” and expires on December 31st annually. For groups or individuals wishing to renew their agreements, applications must be submitted before the current agreement expires. The deadline for new or returning participants to submit an application for consideration is December 1st annually.
To Adopt – A – Park, contact the Department of Public Works at (810) 765 – 9711 or email: mitrich@marinecity-mi.org. We appreciate your time and participation! For full program details and rules, please reference the Adopt-A-Park Program Guidelines within the application.
